Li Goh-Piper
Born and raised in Singapore, Li Goh-Piper commenced her studies in English Law with the University of London through distance learning in 1989. In May 1993, over four hundred students sat for external law examinations and Li was one of only four students in Singapore to achieve an LL.B (Honours) Second Class Upper Degree.
Li took her Bar Finals Examination and was subsequently called to the English Bar as a Barrister of Gray's Inn in July 1994 and she later transferred to be a Solicitor in 2001.
Li also qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor, Singapore in July 1995 and was in private practice as a civil litigation lawyer in Singapore for over 7 years.
After settling down in Kent with her husband in 2003, where they both enjoy a love of nature, she joined Kingsfords Civil Litigation Department in October 2003 as a Case Manager and was promoted to Assistant Solicitor 6 months later.
Li handles a variety of disputes ranging from: housing possession claims, welfare benefits appeals, intellectual property rights, gypsy and travellers rights, boundary / right of way, business partnership disputes, claims made under Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act. She also recently acted in defence against a Magistrates Court prosecution for alleged infringement of Planning Law.
Li speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
