Kevin Harper

Kevin is local to the Ashford area and he studied at the University of Essex where he obtained a BA(Hons) in Economics and Government.  He latterly obtained diplomas in Law and legal practice at the Nottingham Trent University.

Kevin joined Kingsfords in 1994 and became a Partner in 2001.  He is head of the Civil Litigation Department and specialises in contested probate and inheritance disputes, Trust Law (including co-habitees’ rights in property) and property disputes generally.

Kevin acted for Spike Milligan’s widow in the dispute over Spike’s Estate.  He has had recent experience of petitioning the House of Lords.  He was recently appointed as a member of the Association of Trust in Contentious Probate Specialists and is a member of the Housing Law Practitioners Group.

Kevin regularly presents amusing talks on the law relating to challenging wills and writes articles for various areas of the media.
