Thomas Browne

Senior Solicitor

Tom was admitted as a solicitor in 1998, having originally qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1995.

His work extends over a broad range of cases including property disputes, commercial litigation, employment law, contentious probate, construction law, professional negligence and debt recovery. He also advises parents of children with special educational needs.

Tom likes to think of his work as dispute resolution rather than litigation as there are many ways to resolve a dispute. Court proceedings should only be used as a last resort.

Tom holds a Diploma in Advanced Litigation and is a member of the Property Litigation Association, the Employment Lawyers Association and the Society of Construction Lawyers.

Tom gave an interview for BBC Radio 5 Live on the subject of possession claims and appeared on the BBC Panorama Programme ‘Fighting for an Education’ that focused on the needs of children with special educational needs.

Tom is married with 3 children and is a keen following of sport having previously played croquet at both international and county level.
