Marcus obtained a degree (LLB(Hons)) in Law and then completed the Legal Practice Course, qualifying as a solicitor in 2005. Marcus has also completed the STEP Diploma in Trust and Estates, STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation and STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients.

Marcus practised in London, but has returned to his Kentish roots, joining Kingsfords in 2012.

He is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), an internationally recognised organisation for lawyers working in the area of private client law, Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and the Law Society Private Client Section.

Marcus specialises in wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, probate, Court of Protection and elderly client matters. Marcus also supervises the Private Client department team members.

During his spare time, Marcus enjoys indulging in his passion for travelling and exploring new cultures, and so far has visited most of Europe, the Far East and the Middle East, but still has many more areas of the world to explore. Marcus also enjoys a game of golf (when shots are going right!) and would like to dedicate more time to this noble pursuit if only work would permit!
