Sophie obtained a Master’s degree in Law, and successfully completed the Legal Practice Course in 2024. She qualified as a Solicitor in April 2026 and now practices within the firm’s busy Civil Litigation department.
Sophie advises and assists clients on a wide range of contentious matters. This includes a significant role within the firm’s Debt Recovery Department, assisting with the progression of claims from initial instruction through to enforcement, where necessary.
Sophie regularly supports clients in achieving efficient and commercially sensible outcomes, including through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate, as well as through Court proceedings when required.
Sophie is known for her clear and practical advice, taking the time to understand each client’s objectives and tailoring her approach accordingly.
She is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients while maintaining a focused, organised, and detail-oriented approach throughout each matter.
In Sophie’s spare time, she likes to get involved in charity events most memorably dressing as an elf for the charity “Includes Us Too” at Christmas.
Sophie regularly takes part in running events such as the Ashford Charing 10K and has helped organise events like the “Nuts Challenge” for the firm’s team building days.
Sophie throws herself into work socials, dinners, and networking events with the same gusto. The rest of the time, you’ll usually find her spending time with friends and family or making the most of any sunshine when it decides to appear.
